• "I live in a council house as a single person with children at college. I earn a decent salary that’s nowhere near minimum wage. I have no money left for half the month after all my bills and living costs come off. I don’t have my heating on much I have cut all bills back as much as I possibly can. This is no way to live and I know many people will be worse off than me."• "Why do people have to hit rock bottom again and again before they get any support?"

On behalf of Fa'side Area Partnership. Again the mention of housing and this time council housing. Which should be affordable. So what can we do to tackle this matter. Is it about the types of heating tariff's people are on? Is it about the wages people are being paid? Is it about the benefits that people are on? As tenants should not be in a position whilst working that they cannot afford to live, beyond working. We need to aspire to something better for our local residents.
