I am concerned that the area partnership put in an application 3 days after applications closed did others have an extended deadline and fair for all? It says here that applications should have been submitted by 26th - https://eastlothian.communitychoices.scot/budgets/2#phase-2-accepting-projects will we get to see live vote count at the end of voting?
It’s the first time groups have had to enter their own applications online. Unfortunately 5 applications were entered under proposals section rather than the participatory budgeting section and therefore we had to recreate these in the right section on the Monday when this was discovered. No one had any extension :-)
This is a wonderful idea and such a valuable thing to do. For many families there won’t be holidays or expensive day trips through the summer and this is such a great place to see loads of wildlife.
Don't feel this is targeting familys that are in need, also duplication of other services in prestonpans. Have quotes for transport been compared to other companies
